This technique also arose from the need to speed up machining by focusing on key steps, without being in a hurry, in order to then be fast in the continuation of machining. It thus arose from the need to save a design whether it was studied by wax modeling or CAD modeling. The technique involves making the tooth completely (with any type of ceramic) and saving its contour, the incisal margin must already be calculated and well studied, the contact points and the transition walls between the buccal face and the mesial and distal walls must have the right shapes. This allows us to make disilicate frameworks even on BOPT preparations by Dr. Ignazio Loi because the whole contour of the tooth, and especially the closing margin in the first millimeter, is in lithium disilicate framework. It seems that nowadays there is no more time to think, that you always have to rush, rush to save on the time you have… you have to be fast.
